Strategy & Mobilisation
When priorities compete, direction is unclear or something new needs to get off the ground, this is where I work best.
I support founders and CEOs making early decisions that will shape everything that follows. I work with growing organisations that need to scale without losing quality. I advise government bodies, local authorities and mission-driven organisations on how to translate strategy into sequenced, deliverable plans.
I have particular depth in bid and business development work. That means not just writing compelling content, but coordinating across all the internal expertise: subject matter, technology, finance, recruitment and others. I also support the work between submission and contract award: the analysis, the readiness planning, the preparation that means you can mobilise at pace when you win.
In practice, this could include, but is not limited to:
Strategy design and refresh, start-up advisory and early decision-making, bid strategy, writing and review, pre-mobilisation planning, sequencing strategy into disciplined delivery, governance strengthening and board reporting, being an independent strategic sounding board.
Delivery & Impact
Strong strategy only matters if it translates into disciplined execution. I have mobilised large national programmes from scratch and I know what it takes to go from contract award to delivery-ready at pace, to a high standard, and with a team that is genuinely set up to succeed.
I also know what it looks like when delivery drifts. If a programme, project or product is struggling, whether that's a financial issue, a quality concern, an inspection on the horizon or simply a loss of momentum, I can step in, take ownership and reset it. I work on both the technical side and the people side, because in my experience the two are rarely separate.
I work with organisations of all sizes, from early-stage startups scaling for the first time to established providers managing complex national contracts. I have specific expertise in tutoring and teacher training programmes, but the approach travels.

Programme and project mobilisation, delivery troubleshooting and performance reset, quality assurance and inspection readiness, theory of change and implementation planning, risk and stakeholder analysis, performance frameworks and reporting, portfolio and programme review.
Leadership & Alignment
When the people at the top are not quite aligned, everything else is harder than it needs to be. I work with boards, executive teams and senior leaders to sharpen direction, strengthen decision-making and build the kind of cohesion that makes delivery possible.
I also work with individuals. Whether you are stepping into leadership for the first time, going for your next role or navigating the early months of a position you have worked hard to get, I offer mentoring that is practical, honest and grounded in real experience of what leadership actually requires.
I am available for keynote speaking on leadership, teacher development, equality, diversity and inclusion, and organisational culture. I design and facilitate sessions for senior and high-profile teams, and I carry out culture and governance reviews for leaders and CEOs who want an honest, experienced outside perspective on how their organisation is functioning.
